Father’s Day Italian Car Show (20th Annual) - Lonsdale Quay, North Vancouver

The 20th Annual Father’s Day Italian Car Show was held at the Londsdale Quay, North Vancouver, on June 21, 2009, it was targeted at Italian Enthusiasts showing Italian Cars and Motorcycles.
Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver was present and used this venue to launch two very important cars to the public and fellow enthusiast’s. We launched the Ferrari California and showed the very rare Maserati GranTurismo ‘S’ as well
With an attendance of over 3,000 people we felt that this was a successful event and look forward to 2010.
Having of 50 prospects from the show sure let us know that the two new cars were very popular and generated great exposure with a large number of Italian enthusiasts and proved very good for our profile in British Columbia.
The 1st Vancouver luxury supercar show - Edgewater Casino

Vancouver, BC… Automotive luxury, performance and passion heat up Vancouver’s waterfront at Canada’s first annual Luxury + Supercar event, September 12-13, 2009.
The show was hosted by Vancouver’s Edgewater Casino and located outdoors at the Plaza of Nations, the first annual Luxury + Supercar Weekend brings together the finest collection of both luxury and supercars from prestigious manufacturers such as Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Bentley, BMW, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, Lotus, Aston Martin , Bugatti Jaguar and Saleen, as well as exclusive never-before-seen personalized supercars from an elite group of private collectors.
Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver had a great showing at the event with the new Ferrari California, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, 599 Fiorano GTB, F430 Scudera 16M Spider. Maserati was generous in its supercar showing the ultimate sedan, the Quattroporte GT-S and the beautiful GranTurismo. Wait till next year and you will see the Ferrari 458 Italia and Maserati GranCabrio.
While there is some debate about the origins of the term supercar, British motor journalist L.J.K. Setright claims to have coined the word in the 1960’s while writing about the Lamborghini Miura. Used to describe the most prestigious designs and engineering advances in automobiles, supercars are created to showcase supreme advancements in technology and are often designed to push the limits of speed. They are generally not profitable for manufacturers. Only limited quantities are produced, which end up in private collections never to be viewed by the public.

FERRARI 458 ITALIA LAUNCH

A beautiful summers evening welcomed a select crowd of interested prospects to a small launch of the fantastic Ferrari 458 Italia. Two of the first owners in Vancouver kindly loaned their 458's so the evening could go ahead without a hitch.
This was also a goodbye party to Venables too as we prepare to move into 1860 Burrard on August 3rd.
